One of the things I hear most when speaking with business owners is that they don't typically have a sales process in place for generating consistent new business opportunities. Each sales person does his or her own thing and many times, there is very little in place for tracking activity and rarely is anything automated. They tell me it is hard to plan for growth and that while the team works hard, they feel they could certainly do better.
